On Saturday Eric and I had some friends over for Greek food. We had about 11 people in our tiny apartment (including me and Eric) but it was good, it didn't seem too crowded.

Eric and I made most of the food (Greek salad, hummus, and tzatziki), we bought pitas (naan bread) from the grocery store, we got calamari from Bonten Shokudo (a restaurant right by our house), and Casey and Julianna brought an different type of Greek salad.

Everyone looked through the books we are trying to get rid of. The apartment came with over 300 books because it was part of the JET library, but no one has come over to borrow books since Eric arrived and he thinks the organizers of the library has just forget there is one in Natori. Everyone took at least one book, on average we got rid of 5 books per person. It is a good start!

The party was a lot of fun!

Chris and Annette showed up a bit later because they were busy, so I walked with Julianna and Tomomi to the Station to pick them up.

Everyone went home about 11pm. It was a good night :)

土曜日に　エリックと私のアパートで　ともだちが　きました。私たちは　グレシア食を　食べました。　１１人がいました。　エリックと私のアパートは　小さいです。　でも、大丈夫　でした。　

エリックと私は　グレシアのサラダと　ハンマスと　ツァツィキを　つくって、スーパーで　ピタを　買って、　レストランのぼんてんしょくどで　いかフライを　買いました。　ケイシーと　ジュリアンナも　グレシアのサラダを　持ってきました。　おいしかったです。

アパートは　３００さつ本が　ありますから、　どくしょべや　でした。　でも、だれも　本を　借りに　来ませんでした。パーティーのみんなさんは　本を　取りました。　良かったです。　それでも、　エリックと私は　まだ　たくさん　本が　あります。

パーティーは　とても　楽しかったですよ。

クリスと　アネトは　いそがしかったですから、　おそかったです。　ジュリアンナと　トモミと　私は　名取駅に　あるいて、　クリスと　アネトを　むかえに　行きました。

１１午後ぐらい　みんなさんは　家に　かえりました。　よりは　良かったです。
