Eric and I have now been in Calgary/Okotoks for a full week, and are settled in. Eric has been going into his work/school for the past couple days while I've been looking for work, which I found yesterday. I am a waitress at Ricky's Bar and Grill staring Thursday (tomorrow), so today I went with Eric to his lab and am meeting some of his co-workers. There is a bbq tomorrow that I was going to go to and meet everyone, but I couldn't say no to my first shift.

Kate was in town for the weekend, and Eric and I were able to hang out with her for a couple days. She was staying with Jon and Kelly, so we were able to hang out with them too! I hope I can make some friends in Okotoks to hang out with too.
