This summer has been so busy for Eric and me! We have been working so much lately. Eric just finished renovations on his dad's house, and has two days off before starting Med School! We have been trying to do relaxing things and not think too much of work on our weekends.
A few days ago our ceiling fan shook itself out of our ceiling and left a big hole and a bit of a rip in the ceiling. It has been so hot and humid here we had left it on for days, which shouldn't have been a big deal, but it was not mounted properly at all. We will replace it with a chandelier type light Eric received from Chuck.

Yesterday we went to the zoo with another couple (we do lots of double dates with them without even realizing we are double dating :P) Shannon & Ira, they are great friends here in Calgary for the summer. Shannon goes to Victoria for school in the fall, winter and spring.
It was a lot of fun walking around the zoo and talking!
Hopefully today Eric & I will go to Kensington in Calgary today for the Salsa Fest!

I am getting super excited to go to Ewan & Tomomi's wedding in Sheffield, UK!! We have booked our hotel already and it is a really nice room. We have looked at a few things to do in Sheffield and some places to eat, hopefully we will be able to do a lot.

I am going to go upload some new pictures to our Mac, and then hopefully have time to up load some on here :)

Eric and I had an amazing time in Sheffield. I will write a blog post about it separately from this one!
We have missed our "little brother" while he was away in Summer camp. But we got to take him and his family to Global Fest for the Philippines fireworks - they were amazing! I have never seen fireworks like that in my life! Set to music and everything! Our little seemed to enjoy himself and his family had a great time too!
This summer has been good to Eric and I, we were able to travel the world a bit and see good friends again. Enjoy Calgary with our friends, and Eric has met some nice people through Med school! We are really enjoying this city so far!
